The Bigtooth Maple (Acer Grandidentatum) grows to approximately 50 feet with an erect, open and rounded crown. It is commonly found on the limestone regions of the Texas Edward's plateau.
In the fall, its deciduous leaves will turn a beautiful red or yellow. These healthy, magnificent small trees are quite drought tolerant.
Also known as: Sabinal Maple, Western Sugar Maple, Uvalde Bigtooth Maple, Canyon Maple, Southwestern Bigtooth Maple, and also sometimes spelled Big Tooth Maple
Our tree farm specializes in offering grown trees for sale in 45 gallon containers, with some 95 gallon containers available. Container-grown trees offer superior health versus balled-and-burlapped trees, allowing year-round planting with excellent survivability and rapid growth.
